Playing refugee in Lafayette
« on: August 28, 2012, 05:25:25 PM »
Seems like I was in Lafayette escaping a storm seven years ago.  Maybe the screen printing gods are suggesting a sabbatical for screen printers.

What say you?

Are you in town now?

What are your plans for dinner?  We should hook up.

My kids informed me it's not "cool" to for us to say to another person, "We should hook up". That is reserved for one night stands. ;)   LOL.  unless your intentions are more than dinner. "not that there's anything wrong with that".  ::)   LOL.

Yeah yeah... saw that coming a mile a way.

I even almost posted "no fonky stuff... but then again last time I was told 'no fonky stuff' I ended up sleeping with the chick." ;)

Will likely be here until at least into Thursday.  I am chomping at the bit to get back and check the shop and my home due to the non-stop rain but with the wife and two young boys I cannot get back on the road until it is very safe.  Where you at Gilligan?  I am close to W Congress just north of Ambassador.

Opposite end.  Down near Pinhook and Verot (almost Broussard).

In the end, Ambassador is pretty much a "straight" shot to a mile of me and likely you as well.

The extended Ambassador is nice, we take it from 90 and it saves some time as opposed to hitting Kaliste Saloom

Yeah... just don't do it during normal business hours.  People got stupid when they opened that up... ALL traffic went there like they are going so much faster now.

In reality if you go down the "old" bottle necks there is hardly any traffic and you can just fly.  I'll take that extension until I hit a red light or some traffic then I hop over to Albertson's Parkway or La Neuville (same road actually, might tax dollars) after that it's smooth sailing right back to Ambassador or any of the other various roads you need to get on.
