frustrated
« on: February 22, 2012, 05:20:05 PM »
small part frustrating situation, Glad I have M&R machines that don't break but when they do what a pain.
All I can say when there is only 2 distributors in the Largest country in world ( by area  ;)) they have you by the short and curlies.
$11.50 spring with quote from my dist. of $11.50 USD ( no problem ) have one in stock + shipping ( not to me , from M&R to him I'm sure he placed a bigger order than 1 spring with them ) +
brokerage ( can you say crap shoot) have had UPS at my door looking for $60.00 brokerage on a $120.00 item.

I can go direct to M&R no problem but shipping will make it a crazy situation. I guessing I could spend up to $80-100 for 1 sping by the time I get it.
A dist. should have a stash of basic parts.

I'm moving this.
Take your pick: Equipment or M&R's own manufacturer's section. (If the latter, I suggest you word it more like, "dear Rich, WTF?"
To me, it seems like a legitimate issue that he will address.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Sort of the same issue with Workhorse and UPS shipping cost from AZ to NY for something that weighed a fraction of a pound. But in the end Workhorse came through for me and made up for it and shipped my new parts USPS. UPS sucks big time for sending small items.

I'm part of the M&R forum as well but figured I would get flamed as "Cost of doing business" etc.I know it is but I'm sure they wouldn't pay either.

equipment section would be fine.
