Having an issue with the forum
« on: April 04, 2011, 12:33:03 PM »
I do like Dot-Tone-Dan alot, but everytime I click on a thread to post it sends me to his website....and when I log-in Dan's website pops up also.  I'm on a Mac using safari 5.0.3.

Or maybe it's on purpose to drive Dan some more business. ;D

just fyi.....

I had a similar problem at first as well, and even found myself registering for Dan's site!

Now Dan, I know that your site is a few years later then promised (threatened), but still, this is a little heavy handed.

Pierre?

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Is that a perk that you get when you are the administrator?  ;D

I had the same issue on one PC last night, it is OK on my Mac.

Bob from beer city had the same problem on a mac. Everything seems to be working fine for me.
There was a link to dan's site that was on our banner. I did change that, last night I think.

If it is still doing it, I can change few more things until we find the culprit.

I'll look into it some more. Please let em know if it is continuing to do so . . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Still doing it on Safari, it is OK on Firefox on my Mac.
You can not even click on the user name box without going to the Dan's site. ???
