yeah I tried the "save as" route, no dice. You just dont know how pissed i was last night, I tried for at least 30 mins to save it with no luck. I almost curb stomped my f"in computer, american history X style.......... >:(
dude. . that would be awesome to see. . some nutjob setting his puter on the curb. . bite the curb mo fo. . .wham! . .I'm with ya, I almost drove around town with mine attached to my hitch. I get the saving error sometimes in corel too. . sometimes it just closes when I import a graphic or run a plug in. .I just installed X4 a few days ago, so far I'm good.

sorry I haven't a clue about your question. . .

My brother once had a Compaq laptop that had given him grief over and over.  When he finally got a new laptop and had everything copied over he took the Compaq to the roof of where he worked (just 1 tall story) and give it a proper "send off", lol.

Regarding the initial thread, I probably fill up more space with my constant "save as" with numbered version drops on the end of the name.  I've had software pop an error in the past where I've lost hours of work so now I'm just save-crazy paranoid.  If I don't do a save like every 15 minutes or less, I start to sweat, lol.

What about printing to a PDF to get around the save issue.  Once you get it printed, I would suggest cleaning your system of all junk. Cache, temp files, etc.

CCleaner is a free program and one everyone should have.  Multiple times a day I run CCleaner and it removes in upwards of a couple hundred megs worth of junk and temp files.
