Weird shop items that you won't part with....

...OK, this is gonna be a kooky thread, so be warned. Seeing JohnnyKiller tonight and being reminded of his clown painting started me thinking about weird little things we may keep at our shops for no reason, kinda like a knickknack or a mental mascot of something like that.
...back when I worked at one of the large manu's here in Augusta (hint), we had a 'lil Christmas party in the printroom just for us, and one of the treats was a store-bought apple pie. Well, a rush job came in, so we set the pie up on a shelf just to get it out of the way while we finished the job. SOOO....that following July, we were doin some deep-cleaning around the shop, and ran across the six-month old Pie, totally preserved! I showed everyone, we named it (duh) The Pie, and put him back up on the shelf. Everey so often we would visit with The Pie, make sure he was doin okay and that no bugs had found hime yet. When I finally moved on to greener pastures, I said goodbye to The Pie and can only guess how much longer he lived up there.
...fast forward to about two years ago, and I noticed this little guy sitting on top of my dryer one day:
...This is Duckie, AKA Duck E. Fresh. I have no idea to this day how he got there, where he came from, or how long he had been there...which is creepy because I am a one-man show for the most part. Duckie's been there now for goin on two years, and as you can see he's gettin a little furry. Whenever I bring in the occasional friend to help out with a big order at the end of the dryer, not one of them has EVER acknowledged Duckie's presence, even though he sits there grinning at them all day long.
....anyone else have a goofy little thing like this, or are Johhny and myself the only full-blown lunatics in here?

A sock monkey that ended up in an old emulsion bucket on my press years ago. He made the trip to my warehouse location and back when I moved back to the house. It was made by this crazy old lady who babysat our kids years ago, and I came across him when I was clearing out a storage unit. If I ever finish up that motorcycle build, I'm gonna have him tie-wrapped to the sissy bar. Meanwhile he keeps an eye on things when I'm not working.

Johnny, is that clown painting an original print? Looks like something from back in the Barnum & Bailey Circus days (circa early 1900's).

I collect clowns as I am one.
That is one of those thick paint on black velvet black light paintings they used to sell out of the u-hauls on the side of the road.
He has been with me for 20+ years and where I had it in one of my shops he scared the crap out of a many of a person.
I would tell shop visitors to go look for something around the corner and we would just wait...
good times.
If you can't have fun...you ain't got nothin.

I only prefer Elvis paintings on crushed velvet.
That painting reminds me of one of those "when you see it" photos that are popular on facebook.
I had some things that were pretty cool, 1 was a 4x8 print on foamboard of pottery drying in the sun, by central american workers. It came from a Rio Bravo Mexican restaurant.

Yep, that clown is kind of creepy.
I can't think of anything that we have that fits in to this category, I'll go look around a little bit and see if maybe I'm missing something.

A small screenprinted portrait of Tony Iommi above every electrical socket.
