Drop Shadow Help

I made this 3 color lettering, face white, inline blue and drop shadow grey. When i move to colored back ground the Grey shadow goes black. Any comments to what i need to change.

not sure what you call it but this pic shows where to change the setting for drop shadows in corel.   but to be honet with you that drop shadow has such a hard edge that I would just duplicat the wording and offset it behind and make it the color i need,

It is the blend option as said above. It looks better in black on the dark back ground, light colored shadows do not look good except if used for effects.
