New building and waste water access.
« on: January 31, 2021, 11:35:04 AM »
Hello,
My new building is currently being built in a business complex. I just signed the lease and they are about 6 weeks from finishing the job.

My question is this:
I asked my land lord of there was a way since drywall has not gone in yet, that we can get access to the sewer line so I can plumb into it and take care of it now, rather than later after the drywall is up.

He is telling me that is going to be a major issue.

I am new to this, but I also think this should be pretty easy to do. Is there something I should be telling him, or a diagram I can give him to show what I need?

Thank you all for any help you can give me.

in some places access to sewer is regulated and there is even a fee per connection.
I would imagine the easiest thing would be to have him reroute one of the sinks to where you need it or ask to have them do another connection.
just my guess. . .

May be an issue because code may require a vent line with any connection to the waste drain lines. Sometimes those vents can be a bigger hassle than the drain it self.

Do you have a utility sink in the unit already? If so just have your washout filter pump to the sink drain.
