screen lock toggle air leak
« on: October 23, 2019, 01:04:46 PM »
Anyone ever had one of these leak air.  It leaks air either in locked or unlocked but you can stop it by holding it straight up.  I finally had to tape it straight up to stop the leak and just tighten down the knobs to hold the screen frame in place.

If you had that problem was it an easy fix?

Simple fix.  take that panel off and you'll see how they are done.  McMaster should have them cheaper than M&R.

Check the cylinder, high chance its a bad seal in it allowing air to pass by and vent at the switch. Lock the cylinder (rod extended) and remove the line closest to the rod, if air is coming out of the cylinder its the seal.

95% of the time it's the cylinder like the two above me said.
