A friend of mine writes for the classic car section on examiner.com. He wrote an article about a college kid that was brutally beaten by a group of strangers and has been in a semi-coma like state for 2 years. His dad quit his job to care for him through his recovery. Anyway, the article is in the running for a $50,000 award that would go to Ryan's parents. Official voting starts in January, but the more clicks the story gets, the better it's chances of winning.
Also, I own a van similar to that one, I just hope I don't have to use mine for the same purpose.
