what is it worth?
« on: November 20, 2017, 07:07:14 AM »
First Generation M&R Gauntlet, only 4 of the 6 arms are working, but would need an air compressor.

I'm curious what this machine is really worth...I'm not selling it but a competitor of mine is.

We've been trying to sell a '94 Gauntlet, that is running, for peanuts, and a lot of interest, but no trigger pulling... so probably not worth a lot...

are there pallets, sq/fl, all the clamps, flashes? all that matters. If you answer that someone will give you a realistic number. Also a customer has to consider shipping?, pickup? set up. is it a revolver?

They place wanted $2000 but M and R said you can’t get electrical components for it anymore.  I assumed it wasn’t worth the risk.  Is that a safe assumption?

we have a '94 as well that i put sleeve platens on it and that's all it does. for single color stuff you would be fine but multicolor is where the fun  begins. remember, the press is the cheapest part...all the accessories add up real quick. 2k tells me somethings wrong, 4k sounds about right. I thought about selling mine but for that amount I'd rather keep it.

Ours is 2K, and was running yesterday, we've always kept it up. Though, it's just been sleeve duty for the last 6 months; the other auto is just much faster setup and breakdown. We'll take less of course...
