Red Chili Flash

I recently purchased a Flash from another Printer in town. The flash has never been used. I put the correct plug on it and started using it with the sensor to turn it on and off as table rotated. After a few flashes the breaker kicks off. The breaker is a double 30/30. The unit amps are 37.5, does that mean I don't have a big enough breaker for the unit?

yup that breaker is a 240v 30a, and when you said you put the correct plug on it, do you mean you just put a plug that would fit what you had or you swapped it back to what M&R had originally?

You need to see what M&R recommends and get a licensed electrician in there to run a new line.

M&R flashes don't come with a plug, just a whip for your electrician to install the correct nema plug.   You can look up the correct twist lock based off the phase, breaker size and voltage.

On our 20x24 3ph Chili we can run it on either a 40a circuit (technically correct for it's fla) or a 30a circuit since it never pulls enough to trip the 30a.  This is 3ph 230v however.
