How often do you change your squeegees and why do you change them?
Age, wear?

When the blade can't be sharpened to a sharp, smooth edge.

Depending on chemicals used to clean them, they can also get harder or softer than they were or should be.
This is not as common a problem nowadays with more specialized cleaning chemicals being used rather than the harsh petrochemicals of old.

Should be able to feel the ridges of your fingerprints on the edge of the blade. If not replace.

We do have oddball setups (IE 20" wide 60 duro) that don't get used much, and yes indeed squeegee does
age. Seem to get harder as they get older.
