I have an Auto that was made by National and M&R before National went out. It is a 6/8 all air. When the press rotates, table rises and prints but when it comes back down it falls and sounds like it is spamming down. How can this be fixed?

At the bottom of the machine you'll find an air pot that you can adjust up/down for table down cushion.  You want it to drop fast but not slam, just a soft "thunk".

Table up is a trickier adjustment as it's tied into your index cyl and cushion and index pressure, etc.

Don't remember the year but it was some time ago. We private labeled around 50 for National.
