Puff addative and soft density clear
« on: October 25, 2011, 02:44:55 PM »
printed the lighter brown with 10% soft density clear added, and the darker brown with a little puff additive.
both through a 160 mesh.  Texture was underbased with a 60% half tone.  I was expecting more puff, I added 12% by weight.  The hand is not rough, but not really soft either.  Customer was happy with the look.  I was OK with it.  What do you think?

Texture always works!!  8)

For more lift and high detail, print just a puff base below the colors you want to texture (yeah it adds a screen), flash it gently (don't want it to blow yet) then print 1/2 tones and nice detail that sits on top of the puff. When it drys, the puff blows and the detail stays put.
