Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison
Only problem I see with that art is, what Biker is going to point that pinky finger holding that bottle of beer out like that
I did the shirts for Elvis Run for years until the printer informed me that the end client didn't want to pay my art rates any more. (They would come up with these complicated, specific requests for detailed scenes including Elvis and the late firefighter they nicknamed "Elvis" for whom the memorial run is for.) I said OK, I can do art for what they want to pay me, but it won't have the time investment I normally put in... no realistic airbrush-style like I normally do, it won't look the same. He said no, that won't work, they want the same style, just not the same price. Of course, I said no, I can't do that.... knowing how picky and specific they were in the past, I knew I'd end up losing in the end.So the next year, they went with 99designs. I guess they weren't happy with that because a couple of years later, the printer came back and wanted me to do it again. Unfortunately, it was a rush job at that point and I couldn't fit it in to my schedule, so I provided a list of possible artists who might be available, including yours. Why, THANK YOU, CZ! I need all the work I can get; China and India have stolen most of the small jobs that helped fill the gaps between the decxent jobs! You nailed it, in my opinion. I'd think you'd be getting the repeats. Not too late for this year, that run happens in September, so be prepared to get the call for it again. It's a big event and they sell a lot of shirts. But I agree with you, I do see fewer requests for Bike Week and such shirts this year.Anyway, thank you for taking care of Ryan and doing such killer work.
