Sending large Files
« on: March 11, 2016, 10:31:49 AM »
Hey guys, someone told me about a service awhile back for sending out large files, I'm thinking it was YOUsend it or was there another that's free or pretty easy to unload and use, my file service is only 25mb per file

I've used those and work great.

I think I've experienced getting more space drop Dropbox on the free version like 2gig I think,  the more you refer, or invite people to share folders, they add on more space so I have more.

I've even considered using dropbox as a backup storage space location. $10.00 per month, I checked others and the space and cost is all about the same. Actually, I should just get another 2 tb external.

I need to back up about 600gigs right now off of my external drive. I just re connected it again this am and it almost didn't load and tells me it's on it's last leg. I had that external 1tB for about 6 years and it's been good to me since I take it with me when traveling and plug/unplug about 4-5 times a week. That in sure wares it down and I would assume potentially bad for it, causing its eventual demise.  With that said, does anyone know if it's supposed to be ok to just unplug and plug?  I don't seem to have an option to eject like you do a jump drive or CD.
