For those that use a smartwasher?
« on: February 19, 2016, 09:39:45 AM »
My wife won the smartwasher displayed at the M&R Booth in Long Beach.  I keep telling her to win the lottery instead of something you have to work with but she won't listen.  :)

I have some questions.

1st: During slower months do you shut it down and then restart it before you know you are going to need it?  I ask this because I know the ozzy juice hast to be warm to work but also that it will probably evaporate faster being warm "although I don't know that for sure"

2nd:  If you do shut it down when you're not using it, does it take along time to heat back up?

3rd:  What supplier do you use to get more juice and filters?

Other than those questions, I'm happy to get rid of using mineral spirits in a safety kleen tank.
It's not a job if you love doing it.

1. leave it on

2. leave it on

3. Spot Color Supply.  We've started using SW4, which you can get at NAPA.  It is what they are recommending now for SmartWashers.

NAH, don't leave it on unless you know you are going to use it a lot in the day, in the summer months it evaporates chemical really fast, that's my only complaint.  It heats up so fast, we just turn it on in the morning.  Started using half the chemical it used to when I left it on all the time.
