Question about how this works.

I know it's possible to add, depending on the printer, at least one additional color to a sublimation piece. We manufacture for nike and need to print specific fluorescent shades. In particular a fluorescent yellow green that is not exactly neon yellow but a mix.

When something like this is prepared for printing how is the printer making this color on the sheet? Should we send the artwork with an alpha channel for the color? I would think no because the color needed is not what's in the tank.

Wondering if anyone on the board has experience here, particularly with fluorescent or other spot colors in these digital sublimation printers.

Thanks everybody!

you need printer + RIP that supports multichannel. Talk to Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, Epson
