Looking to go Epson for Filmoutput....
« on: August 27, 2015, 11:01:41 PM »
I have been on Xante output devices for over 10yrs now. I want to be able to output films in the 16"x 20" range. So I've  decided that Epson is the more affordable way to go. I was looking to go the image setter route but that is too expensive.

Please let me know what you guys are using for film output and what you recommend for this size. We are an Apple/Mac based shop.

I appreciate the time!!!!!

4800 or 4880/ used on craigslist under $500 if you find a good deal. . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

My 4800 was 100 bucks with a complete set of extra unopened inks. I see them for around 300 all the time.
