Print Count
« on: August 18, 2015, 12:26:53 AM »
Hi everyone, I thought I would share the following with you all.

The attached pictures are from a company in the LA area. The machine is close to 30 years old, which should be testament enough, but if not, check out the print total on this machine!! Better yet, it is still printing unbelievable images in perfect registration today!

Although I guess a percentage of these figures would be clocked up warming up pallets, etc, it still demonstrates what an incredibly durable and reliable machine TAS produce and that's why we are still around today.....and getting better every year!

Happy printing guys.

Love seeing a shop that keeps things CLEAN!

Awesome impressions number regardless.
Been in the industry since 1996.  5+ years with QCM Inks.  Been a part of shops of all sizes and abilities both as a printer and as an Artist/separator.  I am now the Ink and Chemical Product Manager at Ryonet.

that's a ton of prints!

that press must be running at least 2 shifts in order to rack up that many in 30 years...

(49 million prints / 365 days in a year / 30 years) == roughly 4500 prints a day.

The owner obviously takes good care of their gear, and kept up on their maintenance.

That's impressive for sure.  Whats a press like that go for 30 years ago?  Divide that by total prints, that press is basically free ;)

You can't say anything bad about that press, the numbers prove it's a workhorse, 8) plus whomever has been taken good care of it.
Life is like Kool-Aid, gotta add sugar/hardwork to make it sweet!!
