Starlight Roadshow
« on: August 10, 2015, 08:38:56 AM »
For those who are not aware, I have been traveling around the country with a Starlight 2331 LED Exposure unit giving live demos in local Screen Print Shops.  These demos are done in your shop with your emulsions, on your screens, in your conditions.  I have seen these demos open a lot of eyes, answer a lot of questions, and helped a lot of shops to make a decision toward an LED unit.  I am currently in the planning stages for trips that will take me into Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Colorado.  If your shop is located in any of these areas and are interested in seeing a demo in your shop, let me know.  If you do I promise you will be impressed with the results!  If you are interested, you can either email or call me.  I will do my best to fit you into the schedule.

I purchased a starlight last year and it was one of the best decisions we have made in pre-press. We expose a screen in 1.6 seconds. We also discovered a way to burn both sides of the screen in the tri loc system on the starlight. The savings of having two jobs burned in one screen in just a few seconds paid for the machine in a couple months. Work smarter, not harder.

we've done that from the start, I'd say we do it on 80% of the screens we use (especially black and/or white prints). it saves us a lot of time every day

You mind sharing the system you got in place for exposing both sides of the screen. Just interested if it is any different to ours, I`m always up for improvements;)

Think he may be saying both "ends" of frame with two images at once.
Very interested in that technique if so.
