Coon invasion

I used to be a roofer.  Did you know Coons like to sh!t in high places?
Been on many a roof with coon sh!t on it!  Been on some where they get into an attic via a dormer and tear the place up.
They are cute, but ran into one that a cop would not let his dog near it.  Coon would have torn the shepard up!

I've contacted the local Coon Anon.. their going to send someone out to talk to them about the Budweiser problem.

You guys crack me up, I never said they cant get out. Has anyone ever seen what a coon is capable of? They open cans and garbage cans etc quite easily, they can jump well as well. I seen them go in and out several times, the thing is they are nocturnal once down to sleep they dont want to be bothered in the day. We actually do not mind them, they are cute to look at. As long as they dont make a mess they can crash in the garbage all they want!

Well, until now, you never said they could get out. They are young and as you might imagine, it's easy to assume they can't get out.  So, what happens in trash pickup  day?

Coons are prone to carry rabies, they also can be quite aggressive when backed into a corner, or dumpster in this case.  I'd put a .22 short between their eyes. 

And yes, they could get out of that dumpster very easily.

There've been reports in Central Florida of rabid raccoons. The place where my old office was would get 'em in the dumpster, covered in ink, and someone would stick a board in there so they could get out. It's when I see them around in the middle of the day that spooks me, thinking they're sick, as they're nocturnal by nature.

Coons? When racoons try to get on our back porch, Momma just chase 'em off with a broom.

But seriously, my ex had one that would come and eat the cat food on the porch and the cat would just hang back and watch (smart cat).  She has pics of it taking a rag off the rail and cleaning out the bowl when it was done before heading back off into the woods.  That's pretty awesome!

About 3 years ago my dad put his boat in our shop that had been stored outside. We walked in on Monday and there were hamburger wrappers all over the floor and foot prints on screens on the press and over course then foot prints of ink leading back to the boat. They were way back under the I/O engine. Called an exterminator customer we have. Put down a few traps with food in them. Took lots of time to clean up the ink footprints. They were all over both floors of our production place.
