charging for a sample?

What would you guys charge for a print sample for a contract customer.

Its a 550 shirt order...they may only place 4 orders per year..

We charge $150/hr of sample press time. If the customer is a pain sometimes it'll be more. but usually that will give people an idea of how much work will go into one shirt.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

We do 12 color samples for some customers no charge. @ 500= no charge.

about $100. we charge regular production prices, but will keep the screens for few days and only charge $5/color for setup.

if we actually have it on the press sampling, it's $75/ hour.
