Gil, I don't no why these frames didn't really take off because they are some very nice solid frames, I have about 4 or 5 that have been tension to 20 to 25 newtons for years.  I think the big draw back to these frames are you really have to watch how you tension or your frame size will be change on each frame.

...I had a few of the Hix ones, and they have the channels facing the mesh, not on the side like these. As a side note, I kind of liked the Hix ones, very strong and stiff, no flex, and always in plane. You would have screens be a slightly different size, but no big deal if using side clamps, and a three-point reg system.

...so yeah, back on topic,  no idea what these are.

The hix retens were bought by Shur Loc.  I would ask those guys, they are very helpful.

I REALLY like the tool-less lock-less design, just we are having a hard time meshing, specifically corner softening.
