M&R trilock on a manual?

I havent been able to figure this out. On our diamondback and sportman, the pallet lifts clean from the bottom with no problems. But with our manual, since the screen hinges from the back, i'm afraid that it going to break the shear pins on the trilock. Has anyone have some advise?

it would take some pretty good force to break the shear pins...

We use the trilock platen on both the manual and the sportsman with no troubles.... sometimes to get it to release easilly, if you push down a bit on the front left corner when lifting the screen it comes off a lot smoother.

What manual press are you using?

Also, I would never use tri-loc on a manual unless it was a Sidewinder or Chameleon with side clamps and air locks.

we were trying to use ours on an antec press, so that it was modded to accept the M&R pallets, but we could never get this to work. We also figured without air locks, it'll be tricky.

But as mentioned when your lifting the screen out of the tri loc on a manual, if you just push down slightly on the top left corner then raise the screen, it will release much easier.

Our first Auto set-ups with the Tri-Loc have been off front to back.
How do you guys hold frame when setting air locks? On the long leg of frame or up under
the corner pushing on both long and short legs?
