Just finished assembling my new Kruzer...
« on: July 10, 2014, 03:59:06 PM »
2nd piece of 'blue' gear in the shop ;)

so far, very impressed, and much nicer than the 1980's something manual press we were using before.

only 'small' complaint:  the bolts that hold the heads in place with the 'flat' are a PITA to get in place properly... everything else went together really nicely..

Man, you really suck.  I love putting crap together.  How long did it take you to put it together?

roughly an hour and a half...  plus another 10-15 minutes to adjust the platen mounts.

went really smooth...

I ordered from my normal print supply vendor, and it took about a week from when I placed the order to receiving it.

I'm a little surprised you have to assemble it at all, but maybe that's part of the lower cost, not having to send a tech. And it's certainly not too difficult for the typical screen printer, jacks of all trades that we try to be. Congrats on a new press, always a good thing.

you can order it assembled.. I believe the fee was like $350 or something like that...

but... then it requires truck shipping rather than UPS shipping...

It is very easy to put together in my opinion.  Not having to have it crated is a huge advantage for smaller shops in my opinion.

The cost to have the Kruzer shipped assembled is $500.00 and you are correct about having it shipped by truck and a forklift is needed to unload.
Congratulation's and enjoy your new press.
