We sometimes get tiny flecks of foil with some colors that want to stick to the WB Discharge ink. I don't believe those flecks survive the first trip through the laundry, but I'm not 100% positive on that.

I don't like it, but it doesn't always happen and not a single custy has complained. (Weird)

Currently my bases are CCI D-Base Premium and D-White. Pigments are a mix of CCI and Matsui. I'm also interested in the answer to this problem.

First wash will clean any little specs off without issue.  I see it occasionally on my white discharge prints with foil.

Are shirts printed with discharge (and foil) destined for retail usually pre-washed? If not, these "specks" could really hurt "off-the-rack" sales.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

I've only ever seen it on white discharge due to the pigment load. A swift snap like when loading a shirt
on press usually takes care of any flecks. As does a bit of universal solvent in the ink.
