A recent video features two types of quartz flash-cure units offered by Workhorse Products to provide a solution for almost any automatic press. You’ll learn how the Plug-N-Go—designed exclusively for use with the Falcon line—plugs into the print arm and automatically links to the control panel where the operator can conveniently program proper settings.
The video then introduces the Universal quartz flash cure, which works with various automatic makes and models. A special demo unit that works as a Plug-N-Go or a Universal (but is not offered for sale as both) explains how the Universal uses a built-in sensor and timer to control the flash without a cable. The Universal is rolled into position by the press with all controls mounted on the unit.
The Plug-N-Go and the Universal feature small-, medium- and large-zone flashing for various print sizes. Both units are available with a 20-inch-by-24-inch or a 20-inch-by-32-inch curing area. The 20-inch-by-32-inch size is available only in three-phase; the 20-inch-by-24-inch size is available in single-phase.
