I have never heated platens for WB and only partial flash for a DC/UB. Straight DC=no flash period no matter what the ambient temp/humidity. Side note: no additives other than water.

Tonypep,

My apologies for not being more specific in that Matsui's new 301 Eco Series inks work best and speed up production rates by heating up the pallets to 140 degrees F.  This water base product is our news formulation which was created for high mesh printing wet-on-wet with minimal build up and less down time due to ink drying in the screens.  This ink is a game changer in process printing using WB inks.

Also, this information I am currently suggesting is especially useful when printing on 100% poly and using our poly blocker.

Please do not take this as a sales pitch and just trying to support my input on heating the pallets especially for those using our new product.

Best wishes,
Jesse Martinez
