Hard to believe a woman would wear a tank top with an advertisement.  Oh well.....

I suppose, you could take Andy's usual post for placements and measure how far down the neck line (is there a neck line on a tank top or just a boob line?) is from a t-shirt and do some calculations.

On shirts with deep necklines, and narrow tops, a little adjustment need to be made.
Off the top of my head, I'd say that after adjusting for the lower neck, the image may fall near the deeper arm holes as well.
Perhaps halfway between the arm hole seam and the center.

Then again, talk 'em into a center print.

Ideally, the best answer and the best position is probably the one your custy helps pick if possible.
Make a paper print of it, cut it close to its edge, and have her tape it where it looks good to her while looking in a mirror.

Give them professional advice and advise front center. IMO
A ladies shirt should never have a front left it never looks right

It doesn't matter who the hell is going to be looking at the logo! ::)

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES COMPLETELY WITHIN MY CONTROL YOU SHOULD GET YOUR OWN TEE SHIRT AND A SHARPIE MARKER BY NOON TOMORROW OR SIMPLY CALL SOMEONE WHO GIVES A SHIRT.

Hopefully your image is sized and shaped for cooperation  to allow you a little room to work.

I'm thinking something like this. Centered between the shirt middle and the arm hole, about as high as the collar allows.

This is such a tough issue. We just had the same issue with some shirts for a micro brewery opening a tap room. The print is damn near in the arm pit, but unless they wanted the logo under the waitress boob that's where it had to go. And where they double verified they wanted it. Then the whole issue of the girls with bigger "tip enhancers" make the logo un level or crooked. It seems to be a never ending battle!

We would actually go higher and farther from center than the location Frog picked.

Reminds me of the show True Blood if anyone used to watch it, the shirts the waitresses always wore at the best Merlots always had jacked up crest placement! Drove me crazy when I would be watching it!!

I ran into this all the time with shirts that one particular sales person loved to sell - deep v-neck tri-blends.

Nightmare.

You basically end up shoving the image as high up the left as it will go without bouncing off the seams, and hope a well-endowed waitress won't warp the image into something illegible.

There is a breakfast place near here we print for. I realized I was staring at the server uniforms a little too long trying to see which print placements worked and which ones didn't.

Totally ran into something like this one night out at the bar with some buddies a few years back. Waitress called me out, to the effect of "my eyes are up here honey...." It took some convincing her I was trying to figure out how her sweatshirt was printed! I had just never seen such a nice DTG white on a black hoodie!
