Yea I rarely do anything to it maintenance-wise, just change the fluids and put gas in the thing.  I've had to patch one tire that got a giant bolt in it randomly.  The previous owner put about $2500 into replacing all the rubber in the engine and tuning it up a bit just before I got it, mostly because it had been sitting unused for a while.  10 year old car with 35k miles on it...almost a waste, but lucky me!

I know this has turned into an auto discussion, but the original thought was the butchering of the English Language. 

So I'd like to present something I've posted before.......as a "refresher" -

English Vocabulary 101

They're - Contraction meaning "They Are". 
   [Use] - They're going to lose money on that job.

Their - Pronoun - Possessive. 
   [Use] - This is their artwork.

There - Adverb - place
   [Use] - The ink is over there.

You're - Contraction meaning "You Are". 
   [Use] - You're pricing that job too low.

Your - Pronoun - Possessive. 
   [Use] - Is this your coke on the exposure unit?  This phrase can be used for liquid or powder.

Than - Conjunction between comparatives or choices. 
    [Use] - I'd rather screen print than work for the man.

Then - Adverb. 
    [Use] - Print this job, then you can go home.

Two - Number. 
    [Use] - Two screens should do it. 

To - Preposition. 
   [Use] - Take these screens to the press and set up.

Too - Adverb - Also or excess. 
   [Use] - I have too many jobs to print.

Advice - Noun. 
   [Use] - Take my advice and stop bidding jobs so low.

Advise - Verb.
   [Use] - I would advise you to not bid that job.

Seriously though, I have a 2003 sr5 long bed and LOVE IT.  drives and parks like a car, still a beast. Also only 61,000 miles (half of those in the last year since I got it )  Blue book is still around 10g's too.

I have a 02 Taco sr5 4x4 . Just hit 100K last week. Its been the most maintenance free automobile Ive ever had. I just dumped some money into in b/c of hitting 100K, but other than that its been brakes and oil changes.

Mine's an 02 4x4 Extra Cab, 120k miles and yes, 3k mile maintenance, brakes, and timing belt the only major expenditures. (Bought new) Best vehicle I've ever owned... lots of long roadies and dirt road use, too. I have an ARE topper on it with a Yakima rack for kayaks.

I tend to keep vehicles until I can no longer afford the maintenance or they leave me stranded somewhere... I've had Fords and Chevys this old and they were major POS money pits after 90k. I think I'll have this truck a long time yet.

My only complaint is that because of the tighter engine compartment, the oil filter is in a difficult spot to reach without a lift, so it's a messy job... I take it in for lube and oil, but luckily, I have a pro mechanic in the family.
