Prob due to using foreign designers that didn't know the difference or bother to look it up. South just being the bottom of Carolina and north the top. They did place the NC in the northern part of the state. Lol.

HAHA, that isn't only foreigners, i can only imagine that around 100 people saw the art, the proofs, the actual merch, the online store, yada yada.  There were a lot of eyes on that shirt.

Oh well, I had a Hungarian friend working on London and she was amazed that people in London didn't know their was a country called Hungary...they aren't that far apart.

That's classic.  We have an article hanging on a bookshelf that the headline is "Allmost heavan, West Virgina"
A good reminder to double check spelling.

The link at the bottom was great too:  "Nike also apologized to consumers last year after offending some Irish Americans with its Black and Tan shoes."

Screw the Irish, we don't care about them.  Oh, wait, they're Irish-Americans?  OK, OK, we're sorry.   ::)

When I worked for Nike Sport Graphics (Greenville NC not SC BTW) I came in one morning to find that the B-Ball in the classic Jordan sillouhette print had been taped off by the night shift as they thought it was one ginormous pinhole. 4K shirts
