Epson 4880
« on: April 21, 2013, 11:37:39 AM »
I have an Epson 4880 that is constantly giving me the reload paper error. It has given me the error even after it has printed a sep. Any suggestions before I go Office Space on it?

Thanks!

Roll or sheet?  Do you the right kind if media selected?

if it's like my 4800, there is a sensor back there on the infeed. make sure it's clean. take some air and give it a shot...it also does this if the film isn't straight, so double check your going in straight. I line up the film to the horizontal cut line and square it up.
...keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got...

Roll.

I threw in a new roll of film and it worked.

I just fed the old roll and used the compressed air trick and that worked too.

Thanks!

you can turn the 'paper skew' off in the main console.
