OK OK one more..... Lyrics to Sierra (For the Poets)
« on: April 20, 2020, 10:23:24 PM »
Believe it or not this is a love song or just look up the song and listen.
"Somebody ought to have told me.
Told me you could not be true.
Somebody ought to have  told me now.
But that wouldn't be like you.
No ones got to tell me.
After all you put me through.
You dropped me like a habit.
Of which you had a few.
Your scent is on the glass tonight.
Swirling in the wine.
Scrambling the back of my brain.
The irony sublime.
Its a warm bouquet, and pungent flame'
Light this ancient street.
The avenue of no name.
I fall in to its beat.
Nobody loved like you.
Time won't let you be me.
After all that we've been through.
I talk to myself cause I got nobody but you.
Time please set me free.
I ain't got nobody else.
Nobody but you.
OK there is a bunch a me in the lryics but the song is awesome and just don't pay attention and have I nice listen

So sorry this from a different song. Darn the internet. Read if you like but the Sierra song is what I thought people would like and never heard.
It is Boz and it is not a breakup song. Should have known. Stay close and cuddle six feet away! Or sit on the mountain and listen to the love song.
Like they did.

I will find out the source here. It is a good but dark poem. That is not what I meant to share. I'll get to it tomorrow.
