What glue can you use to re-adhere rubber to a Platen?

its that 3m high performance adhesive. its like 35 bucks a quart..  its 3M 1357

You can also use regular old contact cement cement as long as you don't fry the pallet.

On several dozen pallets I've used the plain contact cement from Lowes and I've never had a pallet go bad with that cement.  I've got a few pallets on the auto that are going on 3 years with that stuff.  Maybe we don't get our pallets as hot as some shops but it's worked great for us.  I tried to buy some of that 3M stuff and I think shipping it was pricey for some reason so I tried the Lowes brand and have never bothered with the expensive stuff.  Do what you want but know the stuff from Lowes does work great if you use it right.

Ive always bought the 3M glue at Fastenal they usually have it in stock. haven't tried the contact cement though.
