Dip Tank Drain
« on: December 28, 2012, 04:12:50 PM »
Has anyone experienced a dip tank drain popping out?
We have an Easiway dip tank with a drain on it.  We placed the tank drain toward the wall so the drain isn't accidentally bumped.  This morning one of the guys was fishing a wire behind the tank and claims the whole drain just popped out.  Lost 5 or 6 gallons in a real hurry.  I've pulled, pushed and twisted the drain and it wouldn't budge for me and wasn't leaking a drop.
Thanks,
steve

no i havnt.. funny thing is we never use the drain when changing chemical. the sludge prevents it . we bucket it out after putting in the stuff that neutralizes it.
