Great point... we picked up an apron from TechsupportSPS about the same time because there was some splash back.

Also I read about getting horse mats from Tractor Supply and cutting them down as a cheaper alternative to ready made fatigue mats.  I wish I would have read that before I bought all of mine.  Of course get the brush to clean with... can't remember if it was next to parts washer or on a different isle.  Employee wasn't much help but I did make them load it.

I hate cleaning squeegees too. Don't waste your time with the parts washer. The Harbor Freight one sucks, the motor dies to soon. Plus you need to fill the sink with lots of chemical before it will recirculate.

We got a saftey kleen one, started cleaning squeegees with it. What happened was the ink would get thin and then seep into the holder. It looked nice and clean.

Then the next day it would go on press, all the sudden we'd have a big orange stripe down the middle of a white ink flood.
The old ink would drip and contaminate the ink the next day.

So now my wife forbids anyone to use it and it's a $300 mistake i'm reminded of from time to time.

Thanks for the info. I hate washing Squeegees and floods. So you just do it with spray and shop towels then?

Never ever had that problem in close to 20 years. what sort of squeegee holders are they? M&R style?

Yep we just card off the ink and spray with greeneway. Then wipe with paper towels.

We're using M&R squeegee holders.

We use the Cystal Clean part washer and couldn't be happier.
Cleaning squeegees any other way seems like a lot of work.
