Hotronix® recently added a new size to its lineup of optional platens that allow its presses to print on a wider range of substrates.
The new MVP platen, which stands for “most valuable platen,” measures 11 x 15 inches, and makes it easy to thread smaller women's and children's apparel. It’s also great for longer names and designs.
On the Hotronix Auto Open and Maxx™, the MVP is easily bolted on. The Fusion™ and Air Fusion™ feature quick-change platen installation with pin registration. Simply turn the pin a quarter turn, remove the platen, and drop in another.
The platens are made of 3/16-inch steel and feature a 3/8-inch silicone rubber top. The MVP will work on any Hotronix Auto Open, MAXX™ clamshell, Fusion and Air Fusion heat presses.
