Cliff Hix Engineering heat presses?

Has anyone ever used any of their presses before?

looking at one for sale in town, and have never heard of them before. just wondering what the verdict was on these?

I've seen 'em around for as long as I've seen Heat Presses. They were around long before the Chinese cheapies, and a twenty year old one is probably still working (just no bells and whistles)
I even have a Hix Hat press up in my loft (I have a few extras in this department, and happen to have multiple platens for a George Knight press)

What size and type and price are you looking at?

It's a hat press, C250, i'd just only heard of Hix, not Hix engineering.

he was asking $350, but i think i can get him lower.
