Due to Hurricane Sandy we have been forced to shut down all operations at our Oceanside, N.Y. facilities.  Almost all of our belongings inside the facilities have been damaged, mostly beyond repair.  Due to severe flooding, our building complex has been rendered useless for business activities. We remain without power, heat, gasoline, telephone and Internet communication.

As we face the harsh reality of this devastation, we are reminded of how vulnerable we all are to natural disasters.  Our families are also impacted quite badly at home and most of us remain without power, heat, gasoline or communication. But we remain resolved as we help each other and our neighbors get through this difficult period.

We are also reminded of how important your business is to us.  We are taking every step to ensure that we restore our customer and technical service to full capacity as soon as possible.  Our service technicians are using all means possible to assist our customers.  Some of us are using mobile Internet where the service is available.

However, many areas have lost their towers and cell service is still not available.  Others are working from hotel lobbies, Starbucks, McDonald’s, or any other location they can use to communicate with and help our customers keep their machines running.

While reaching us by telephone might not be a viable option right now, we will address all email inquiries that are sent to us.  We are making provisions to allow for tech support and parts shipments to continue in order to maintain your service.  There might be some delay in responding to inquiries, but we will get to every request.  Please send your inquiries to sandy@bitousa.com.

Status updates will be posted to our website at www.bitousa.com as well as the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/BITO/107939715908893?ref=ts&fref=ts.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,
Ed Balady, president, and the staff of BITO
