I have gotten that message with WTF, but not using any hot key! Only happened once that I remember, but it was definitely a WTF moment.
I think that I just closed out, re-booted, and all was fine.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

It might be possible to find out what the Hot Key assignments are by searching the registry (may not be for the faint of heart).

Click on Start and type regedit in the window.  When the Registry Editor opens, click on Edit and type in hot keys.  After finding the first one, PF3 will find the next and the next and so on.  There may be a number of sets open and most will probably be empty, but maybe you can find where the Hotkey for the font is already assigned.  On the right side, you can double click the "ab" entries to see what is in each one.  Cancel out of each one that is irrelevant and PF3 to the next.  When you get the "Finished searching through the registry" message, all has been searched and you can X out.

Shot in the dark here.
