Cleaning a Record with Wood Glue

Mooseman, I hope you see this, seems like something you would find interesting.

And, you get the added benefit of having a truly mirrored, backwards playing disk as a bonus. Shades of Pez Del!
Now, how much glue and time do you think that my 3000+ records may take?

btw, I use one of these, but this set does not include the stylus cleaning liquid, and is missing the test light and cleaner cleaning brush.
These were sold in a few configurations, and the cleaner pad and liquid itself is still available.

There used to be single purpose cleaning turntables which pretty much consisted of a platter and a powerful torquey motor that would not stop or slow much when pressure was applied.

Okay, here's a pic of the one I'm actually using right now. It includes the small neon bullet light for testing the gun (supposed to work for 100's of thousands of static-reducing zaps.
Also holds a spare headshell, this one equipped with a conical stylus used for my funkier condition records.

I don't know squat about any of this but is it safe to assume that all th glue is doing is removing every spec of dust there is wedged into the grooves?

I am fan of Elmers glue myself....this guy is nuts however.  I could never be that neat and would most likely clean the label off also and need a wood chisel to get my record off the turn table. I tried this once with my Black Sabbath War Pigs.  Took the glue copy flattened it and tried playing it at 78 speed backwards,  ..........I got a Billy Graham sermon

When I was a kid my family owned a mom & pop grocery store, a fairly large one for the times and we had a new item called Elmers glue as a product. I used to coat my hand with the magical white stuff let it dry, (a thin coat on your hand dries quite quickly) and peel it off like a layer of skin...complete with an exact copy of my fingerprints palm lines and such. The profits I spoiled in that place

I have a very talented very smart DJ friend (one of the printers knows him from his days dj'ing around the country).  We worked in a club together and it was often pretty dead (the owners had no clue what they were doing but paid us well).  He used to beat mix Higher State Of Consciousness backwards by hand on top of all sorts of things... sometimes even over a capella tracks or even two other tracks all mixed together.  It was always quite impressive what he could pull off.  At times he'd be digging for records, having a conversation with me and actively riding a beat over another one with the other hand.

Anyway, he eventually rigged up a way to turn the needle upside down and would just put the record on top with the needle underneath and mix it in like that vs constantly turning it backwards by hand at a steady pace.

Makes sense, I use Elmer's whenever I get cactus thorns in my hand. The really tiny ones that take forever to tweeze out, just lift them out with dried glue.
