My son's travel lacrosse team, Team Illinois Gold, won their first tournament ever last weekend in Traverse City. Their division had 24 teams, and they went 7-0, and beat Louisville in the quarterfinals, Ann Arbor in the semifinals, and a team from Grand Rapids in the championship. They did this desptie missing 5 of their best players. I'm proud of him and the whole team for a great season.

I know many of you are posting pictures of your new little ones (I'm an old guy) so you have a lot of these tournaments and other great times to look forward to!

Congrats!  Some of the best years were when my son played soccer. All were great years but having him on a team and going to games was awesome.

He plays defense. He likes to hit but doesn't like getting hit. Lacrosse is a great sport and is growing like crazy. Lots of screened printed uniforms! I'm glad your son likes playing. Mine is in his 3rd year.
