M&R Hothead production specs
« on: January 08, 2021, 12:40:45 PM »
I just got my Hothead installed this week and started playing around.  I just wanted to see if anyone else was using this and what specs you were using.  I can definitely see an improvement versus my normal roller screen.  Today I'm running some Bella 3001.  I notice the top of the image looks like it isn't getting matted down as much as the rest of the image.  I've been adjusting temps and pressure at the  normal regulator on the head.  I don't see any difference using the 2 valves that came with the Hothead for installation.  I'm currently running at 300 degrees, 40 PSI, 3-4 on the print speed.  If anyone has any suggestions or totally different specs they use, please share.  Thanks

Is the print head level to the pallet? That would be my first thought if the top isn't flattening out like the rest of the image.

Try running more pressure. Also I run 380 with a little faster speed.
