Cotswold Stabilizers Meet U.S. Consumer Safety Standards
« on: October 18, 2017, 03:58:02 PM »
Cotswold’s embroidery stabilizers’ nonwoven fabrics comply with the requirements of the United States Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) regarding lead and phthalates. These regulations limit lead contents and ban phthalates in inks used in certain products intended for children age 12 or under.

While the CPSIA does not address formaldehyde, the fabrics used for Cotswold stabilizers also meet the most stringent regulations for this compound (those of the Japanese Ministry Ordinance Legislation JMO112 and its European equivalent EDANA Method for Free Formaldehyde 1210.1-99). The stabilizer fabrics further meet the flammability regulations (16 CFR 1610.4) promulgated pursuant to the United States Flammable Fabrics Act.
