US Virgin Islands Relief

As many of you know  the US and its Caribbean territories have endured three major hurricanes this season.  The damage in the Caribbean is incredible and the need for basic necessities such as water, food and clothing is great.  St John has suffered major damage  and St Thomas is almost as bad with the only hospital being destroyed.  Hurricane Maria clipped St Croix causing widespread damage but spared the hospital.

We are organizing a relief effort aimed at St Thomas and St John.  Fedex Express has agreed to move the shipment at a drastically reduced rate.  A wide variety of goods are needed and will be forever appreciated by many people trying to dig out of this disaster. We can arrange to use our Fedex Ground account to move inbound goods.

Here is a list of goods we are seeking, if not begging for.

MREs
Dehydrated food
Freeze dried food
‘Bug out’ kits
Almost any food in pouches, bags or case lots
Solar cell phone chargers
Lightly used clothing
  Shoes
  Jeans, slacks
  Shirts, long and short sleeve

PLEASE DO NOT SEND US CASH OR CHECKS!!

If you wish to make financial donations here are a few sites which we know to be legitimate.

Kudos for shining the light on what appears to be the red-headed step children of the Caribbean. Having lived on STT for a couple of years I can tell you life can be a bit dodgy there even on a good day. They got zero news coverage which is sad. I'm working with an ex GF on the island to help. Billy D'Ambrosia owns the only legit shop on STT and he lost the roof on that and his house as well.....its really bad for him.
