SAGE accounting software with production software?
« on: February 22, 2017, 03:22:34 PM »
Anyone using SAGE accounting software with a production software?

Anyone know of SAGE?

Fast Mrg works with QB software. We already have SAGE and a few years of data that is better than QB and they aren't changing. We would like to integrate the two (accounting, order entry, production) so that an order is entered only once.

We will be looking at Shopworks also.

Dan,

We have used sage for years and it does a lot of things very well.  But for our production scheduling we use a custom excel sheet.  I haven't found anything I like better than our scheduling system. It's not perfect but works great for us. Call me if you want to talk.

i didnt think anyone else but us used SAGE / MAS200 software.

same as lizard - we use an excel sheet for our scheduling.

SAGE works well for the accounting department.  the production department isnt a huge fan of it, and it adds a lot of unnecessary steps (at least how we use it) to the workorder process.
