Printing on Badger Black performance Ts

I have a large order that a customer brought in and unfortunately they are Badger poly ts in black.  I try to avoid Badger because they love to bleed.  Should I be ok printing straight poly white on these or am I going to need something special.  I have the IC Performance white as well as the Synergy Poly white.  What do you think.  The order is 400 pieces so I just don't want to get nailed.  I have already voiced my displeasure with their selection of garments :-)

Use a bleed blocker grey, flash and then either of the white you mentioned will get the job done. Another reason they bleed is because the poly hold heat so much more than a standard tee shirt so speed up your belt. There are a lot of options and new technology but this set up works great for me. and the grey prints nice and smooth so you get a really nice hand. grey-160 mesh and the top white on what works for you.

The steps given here with the barrier grey topped with poly white are exactly as we do them with great results, and when I get that nagging sense of doom crawling up the back of my neck when I see Badger on the label, I toss in an ink with a lower cure temp to further avoid gassing, just for good measure. I've found the Endurance line offers me this in both inks, and I sleep better when I'm not wondering whether or not  the shirts are bleeding in their boxes over night.

I worked for Badger and printed on all their garments for a year including the sublimated ones. I also tested a lot of other brands. The key is always temperature. Can't stress that enough. Use paper thermometers and a low temp curing ink. One stroke has the elt series with a barrier black as an underbase. Rutlands EKO acrylic barrier worked as well. At Badger, we used silicone. White flash white and it worked like a charm. They print 50-60 jobs on their poly everyday. There is a video I produced starring my old boss Tom Lopina. we use one strokes black for any heavy bleeders(sublimated goods). 
Poly white will not always work by itself(we just tried printing on some odd cosmic looking shirts with just one stroke ELT white and it still bled).  Put down the black UB and they are perfect.
Silicone would also probably work(and be one less screen to use)...but we don't do much with silicone.

Happy to report that the job went well.  Used Synergy poly white and did a P/F/P and made sure to keep dryer and flash temps low.  Shirts turned out great.  Even let them lay around the shop a few days to make sure no migration.  Very happy with the Synergy poly so far.  Been through a few gallons and it is definitely impressing me.  Thanks for all of the input.  Honestly had I been using an auto I would have used a barrier base and put the synergy on top but manually printing the P/F/P was just easier.
