Embroidery Art?
« on: September 29, 2015, 11:53:14 AM »
This is a handstitched piece I saw the other day, but it got me wondering about designing with embroidery in mind, and how "artistic" the digitizing process can be for production embroidery.  I think pretty much every production embroidery piece I have ever seen is an exercise in getting the best coverage with the least amount of thread, and they pretty much all look kind of flat, for lack of a better word.  I am not an expert on the process AT ALL, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there doing stuff that would be in the same style as the image, and how you could design art with something like this in mind and who would you go to for the digitizing?  Mostly just curious...

Hi,

This type of design needs a lot of practice. People having more years of experience can easily do it.
Also, read some blogs, eBooks and watch videos to get an idea about such pretty art. And, keep practicing.
