Seedaire chiller.. Model 3YA49
« on: January 05, 2016, 04:01:02 PM »
I think my chiller may be crapping out.... I've notice some moisture in the lines and in the Air moister catcher glass on the bottom of my press. I checked it and it seems to be running. I took the drain line out and place it in a pan. Very little moisture being collected in the pan. I guess my question is how do you know for sure when these puppies need replaced.

you could just need a refrigerant charge...

any competent commercial HVAC guy should be able to look at it and troubleshoot it.

Does it have an over temp warning light? That would be the first clue if it does. I think most do.
Laser temp the coils? Maybe a clog in the draining system?
